Steam bending yurt crown rings

I´ve been making bentwood yurt crowns from some local ash logs this week. one is a 1m diameter for a 4.5m yurt, the other is a small 75cm crown, for a 3m kirgis style yurt. need to dry then be smoothed and morticed for the roof rods. steam bending worked out nicely, but will sort out the formers to accept wedges which will make the clamping procedure easier for working alone.
